The Trinity

We believe in the one true God who has existed eternally in three persons; the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  He is the creator and sustainer of all worlds, and reigns overall.

Jesus Christ

We believe God has revealed himself through the person of Jesus Christ.  Jesus is fully human and fully divine.  He was born to a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles on earth and was crucified to atone for the sins of humanity.  He was buried and resurrected on the 3rd day, defeating death.  He now sits at the right hand of the Father, awaiting the day when he will return in power and glory.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the third person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, who indwells every Christian.  He was sent to empower believers to preach the gospel to the ends of the earth.  He freely gives spiritual gifts that build the church and display the power of the gospel and Jesus’ resurrection.

The Holy Bible

We believe the bible is God’s divine revelation to man.  The Bible is the only infallible, inerrant and the authoritative word of God.  We submit to the Holy Scriptures, acknowledging that they carry the full weight of God’s authority.

Sin & Redemption

We believe man was created good, but sin entered the world and by voluntary transgression, we were separated from God.  Humanity’s only hope was in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, a free gift of God, not a result of any good work by human hands.  Jesus lived a sinless life making His sacrifice fully sufficient to atone for the sin of mankind and restored our relationship with the Father.  The Christian is cleansed by Jesus’ blood, and begins a new life, and a process of sanctification, as we are enabled to live a Godly life by yielding to the Holy Spirit and God’s Word.

The Church

We believe that God’s redemptive plan for this broken and fallen world is the church, the body of Christ mobilized with the power of the Holy Spirit to reach the ends of the earth with the good news of Jesus Christ.

The Sacraments

We believe in the sacraments of Water Baptism, the Lord’s Supper and Covenant Marriage between a man and a woman.
